To celebrate the year's end and welcome in the new era, the BB team have rounded up the most frequently asked questions from our DMs, emails and live chats to answer all of your biggest concerns. Let's enter 2024 with more clarity and understanding, and help each other grow into our full potential. ✨

We never recommend treating pregnant women. If there were to be a reaction, the medication they may need to take could interfere with any they are already taking. It doesn't matter if they have previously been patch-tested, a reaction can occur at any time. Hormones fluctuate during and after pregnancy, so a new patch test should be performed once they have given birth.

We also do not recommend treating breastfeeding women. This is to ensure the baby's safety. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding are more at risk of complications, so it is best to avoid treatment during this time.

Yes! 

Both Lash Bomb and Brow Bomb are the exact same formula and can be used interchangeably. Our Super Speed Lift & Tint (combining Step 2 and tinting) and our Brow Lam Light (formula for sensitive skin) can also be used for both lashes and brows.

If you are already qualified in tinting then you do not need a separate qualification to use our Hybrid Stain. If you would like training in Hybrid, then we have the option to select the Hybrid Kit in our Brow Lam, Wax and Tint course for an extra £30. 

Our new Growth Serum should be applied along the lash line/brow root rather than directly to the hair. Therefore, a conditioning serum should be applied additionally to the hair itself. We recommend our Lash & Brow Toxx as a daily aftercare treatment/conditioning element.

We do not recommend putting the sachets in the fridge; they should be stored at room temperature: 21 degrees Celcius. Making the formula colder could alter the timings needed for the hair to process, leading to a lift that is underwhelming.

The sachets have a shelf life of 12 months.

Once opened, they last 7 days for treatments if sealed with a strip of micropore tape. For patch tests, they last 14 days if sealed with a strip of micropore tape.

By following the correct preparation steps, you can create a surface that retains the product better. This is done through scrubbing and thorough cleansing to remove all debris and makeup traces. Please be aware that oily skin may not retain the stain for as long as non-oily skin.

We never recommend using the Brow Scrub pre-lamination. This is because the scrub is an abrasive. Over-scrubbing could cause scratching and if Step 1 or 2 enters the scratch, it could cause a chemical burn.
